Kim Kardashian Used Her Actual Boobs to Mold SKIMS’s Ultimate Nipple Bra

When you’re Kim Kardashian and start your own wildly successful underwear and shapewear company, you can pretty much create any product you want, whenever you want. (After all, SKIMS was born after Kardashian noticed a gap in the shapewear market based on her own experience customizing shapewear to suit her wardrobe.) That’s why it comes as no surprise that the brand’s instantly viral Ultimate Nipple Bra was modeled after Kardashian’s actual chest, as she recently revealed to Jimmy Kimmel.

In a new appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kim Kardashian shared that the push-up bra with realistic-looking, built-in nipples was directly inspired by her body. In the interview, she said it was her idea to add the nipples modeled after her own. The bra is built upon a thick pad with “nipples” on it, giving it that perky, lifted effect.

But having Kardashian’s actual nipples as the mold for the bra means it can get a little awkward at family functions should one of her sisters be wearing the Ultimate Nipple Bra.

“Khloé was wearing it, and Scott made a comment saying it was inappropriate. She was like, ‘Oh, they’re not mine; they’re Kim’s,'” Kardashian shared. (We can totally see this playing out in a scene on The Kardashians.)

Kardashian also noted that the bra is popular with breast cancer survivors and told Kimmel that SKIMS is currently working on shapewear for men.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kardashian shares some of her biggest quirks, like the fact that she blowdries her jewelry before putting it on so it’s not cold (honestly, genius) and sleeps with her eyes partially open, but the big one was that she can’t stand cardboard coffee cup sleeves. “I hate the feeling,” she said. “The cardboard getting moved off of the cup is like nails on a chalkboard to me.” Ok, well…
