You can save 15 percent on an LG C3, now as low as $847

With eBay’s spring sale going on right now and running through May 12th, you can save an extra 15 percent on purchases when you use code SPRING15OFF. There’s no minimum purchase amount required, but you can only save up to $500 on each of the two maximum purchases you’re allowed to make.

There are thousands of electronics you can purchase in the sale, but I want to shout out the 48-inch LG C3 today. Its usual $996.99 sale price was already beating traditional retailers by a few dollars, but with the code above, you can save another $149.55 and bring your total down to $847.44. You can use the same code on the 65-inch model, which then drops from $1,596.99 to $1,357.44 (around $240 off). The listings are by Electronic Express, a Verge-trusted eBay store that is also an authorized LG reseller. You’ll get the standard manufacturer’s warranty with your order in addition to third-party extended warranty options.

The LG C3 earns its keep as one of the first TVs that gamers should consider if OLED is a must, even if a newer model is out. All of its four HDMI 2.1 ports support a 120Hz variable refresh rate and auto low-latency mode. That’s not as high as the C4’s 144Hz refresh rate, but it’s as high as any gaming console can hit.

The C3 also improved on the C2’s OLED Evo panels by pushing peak brightness slightly higher and brought improved AI-powered image processing. It also has an updated webOS experience that supports multiple user profiles. All of that is in addition to its vividity and virtually infinite contrast, which is enabled by the self-emissive pixels that define OLED TV — the resulting picture for games, shows, and movies still blows my mind every time I turn it on. Plus staples like Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and a fun Magic Remote that offers voice and motion-activated control.
