North West’s Blonde Peekaboo Highlights Are the Summer Hair Inspiration We Needed

North West is just a few weeks away from her 11th birthday on June 15, and despite her young age, she’s already become a fashion and beauty icon in her own right. But then again, it’s in her DNA; Kim Kardashian’s eldest child has literally grown up around some of the best hairstylists and makeup artists in the world, so it’s no surprise that she’d be setting trends before entering her teens. We’ve seen her in super long braids, Christmas-colored ribbons, and pops of pink, not to mention her plethora of makeup-centric TikTok videos and her Gen Alpha fashion police skills. Now, West is getting in the summer state of mind with cute blonde peekaboo highlights.

West — or Miss Westie, as she introduced herself on one of her dad’s songs — joined her mom for a Los Angeles Sparks WNBA game, sitting courtside and getting to hang out with players Lexie Brown and Cameron Brink post-game. She wore her hair half-up and curled, with the honey-blonde pieces popping out. The blonde curls are so cute and definitely perfect for the summertime.

West and her friend dressed alike for the game, both in bright pink sweatpants, puffy black jackets, and sneakers. The team presented West with her own Sparks jersey and a pair of sneakers, which was predictably adorable; Brink even appears in the latest Skims campaign, which features WNBA players Dijonai Carrington, Kelsey Plum, Candace Parker, and Skylar Diggins-Smith. (Skims is the official underwear partner of the WNBA.)

We first spotted West’s blonde peekaboo highlights back in April, and it looks like she’s been feeling the low-key look is perfect for the warmer season. West’s birthday is on the horizon, and we know the Kardashian-Jenner crew goes big for birthdays. Last year, West and her besties did a “Troop Beverly Hills”-themed PJ party with a party bus and night in a hotel. Will the Sparks be in attendance this year, and will the blonde stick around? TBD!
