Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan Perform ‘Stick Season’ at the 2024 ACM Awards

Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan serenaded the audience with two of their best hits at the 2024 ACM Awards.

Dressed in a gold nightgown and white boots on top of a black and white plaid shirt, Ballerini, 30, kicked off the performance with a stunning rendition of her power ballad “Mountain With A View.”

The country music star was then joined by Kahan, 27, who wore a long-sleeved brown shirt and khaki pants to sing his folk-rock hit “Stick Season.” As he reached the chorus, Ballerini recited the lyrics alongside him.

Their duet follows Kahan’s first Grammy nominations, on top of his first charting singles — “Stick Season” and “Hurt Somebody.” Along the way, he’s also scored collaborations with Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves.

Looking ahead, the singer is currently working on new material and has teased some unreleased songs during live performances.

“I just want to wait and feel very excited about whatever’s next in terms of an album because before Stick Season, I felt like I was just putting music out just to put it out,” Kahan previously told PEOPLE at the 2023 TIME100 Gala. “When I made Stick Season, I had such a strong focus, and I want to make sure I find that again.”

Recently, Ballerini hosted the CMT Awards alone for the first time in Austin on Sunday, April 7.

She pulled out all the style stops with nine outfit changes and performed a reimagined version of her hit 2014 single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” to celebrate a decade in the music industry.
